When the rankings are next updated, Laura's opponent Lulu Radovcic should get a ranking, after winning R1 here for the third time; making her the only 14yo on the WTA list.

As I indicated earlier in this thread I actually think Laura's game has been looking steadily on the up over several months rather than any sudden turnaround of her year.

Does seem to have shown improvement again this week and that indeed seems to have been a worthy performance in defeat.

I'd like to see a few more results like this and some ranking scalps before I believe this. Tournament selection has helped with results and I know I'm being cynical but until she starts beating top 600 players I don't really see this as progress.
