...but responds magnificently! Serving at *3-1 in the second, a break up. He has 24/37 first serves in, and is converting less than half of his first serves - something to keep working on.

ITV4 are telling me his break of service game was magnificent with several exceptional returns - seems to be figuring out the Frenchman's service game...

Excellent response. Well done Kyle. First set in a grand slam, now let's make it first win.

When he has the ball inside the court he's very, very good. When he's defending though, he can struggle to get back in a point.

And then consolidates after a brilliant rally. Nearly slipped halfway through but still managed to pull out an accurate backhand, following it up with a rasping forehand before coming into the net to put away the overhead.

Kyle comes out on top in a real ding-dong game where both players had multiple game points. Both players making several errors mind.
