Schedule for Thursday is up, with Kyle first on Court 7, while Andy is third on Chatrier.

Nice to see Nicolas Mahut, whose preferred surface seems to be the green stuff, get the better of Gulbis (24) in four sets. biggrin

Except for the fact - I'll have to check the other thread to be sure - I think that takes him past Wardy in the rankings? Knocking the chance of top 100 back a bit?

Edit - never mind, I see that several people have gone past James now!

Good news for Kyle.  Can't have these young lads playing on past their bedtime like he had to on Monday.

Bad news for yours truly. That's a 6am start time here. If I wake up late enough, perhaps Kyle will already have delivered me a nice birthday present.

Happy birthday in advance, BiS!

Fascinating to see the court assignments; they're really mixing things up far more than most GS organisers do.

According to the draw sheet Kyle has withdrawn, everything crossed that isn't the case.

Birthday celebrations on hold by the looks of it. cry

Anxious to know the story behind this withdrawal. Fingers crossed that it isn't anything too serious and he will be back for the grass court season.

Stories on Twitter of a stomach injury that he apparently had BEFORE he played Robert.

Not sure where the info originally came from.

Russell Fuller has now tweeted the following:

The sense is that Edmund probably could play but is worried that he might make it worse and end up missing the grass court season

At least it sounds as though it isn't too serious and the withdrawal is more precautionary.

Yeah ITV and all journalist on twitter are reporting it is a stomach injury. I think he is scared that playing could make it much worse and mean he would miss Queens/Wimbledon/DC.
