Or Federer. Or Berdych. (We're pessimists, no?) Actually, those are unusually wretched Q draws overall. Barring the ones mentioned by Paulisi (and I'd query Mahut), there's not a good one in the bunch.
I class Gulbis as one of those where he's either wretched or terrific. You don't know which one you'll get. Yes, he's been largely wretched this year - but past performance is not an indicator of future results and all that. Point taken on Berlocq.
Oh come on, there are a few there I'd take with open arms!
Namely Kokkinakis, Tomic (might withdraw anyway, retired with a virus last week), Berlocq, Qualifier, Chardy isn't that bad a draw, Duckworth, Paire, Mahut or Grannolers.
You qualify to put yourself in the hunt. I'd back Kyle to appear in all 4 slam MD's this year, and it's not a bad time in his career to draw Murray or Federer and get some real quality opposition picking holes in your game.
I'd really rather Kyle didn't draw Andy - but apart from that let him have a go - maybe he'll catch someone a bit cold and knock out a "big name" in R1!
