This R1 win in addition to last week's QF will take her to 20 points in the post French Open rankings, which will likely have her around her April 2014 CH 744.

Might as well win a round or two more to make sure of a new CH.

Hopefully Cav is getting well set up for the grass season and indeed then the rest of her year.

She's made pretty clear in her excellent blog that she has little intention of playing 10Ks, because of such as the bad habits it can induce even when winning, quite apart from clearly wanting to advance to higher tournaments anyway. I take it this current ( and next week ) foray back there has to do with getting back into the swing of things after minor injury issues?

I assume she is using the next two weeks as match fitness, earn a bit of cash and bump up the ranking before she is back having a go at 25/50k again. The problem Cav has had is getting into these tournaments due to the poor scheduling meaning most are loaded.

Pleased to report she's withdrawn from next week's Sharm. (I think she'd do better not to risk aggravating or causing any injury, and getting in some grass practice back home.)
