Another extremely weak tournament and we should be able to get at least one winner here across the men's and women's event

Naomi is top seed, Laura D is seeded 8th, Fran 5th and Dasha has a nice draw as well

Extraordinary drawsheet means that the 6 players separating top seed NaomiC from 8th Seed LauraD are all either WCs or Qs. Fran also has only WCs and Qs in her section, and Dasha gets a first round Q.

Great name for the Swiss girl - I don't think it applies to her tennis though......

Shawkat only managed 3 games from Izzy last week

The young Swedish girl might be the dark horse in the top half of the draw. Naomi thought quite highly of her when she played her in Sweden, but could be an all GB semi final(Naomi v Fran). I guessing that Naomi may have coached Fran at some stage, so pupil v master

Naomi's R1 opponent was top 500 singles and doubles in 2013 as a 20 yo. But clearly been out of ITFs for a long time.

It's disappeared from the livescores, but the drawsheet has FraNaomi winning 6-1, 6-2

ITF livescore is a bit flakey! Also on the main ITF site.

I think the organizers have a way of taking matches out of live score - as they do if it rains etc.

Given it's a manual process ....
