One way to get rid of the points-per-round argument is to win the tournament smile

3 points on the bounce from 40-15, means that Joss and Anna will serve for the match.

Where are we up to with Joss and Anna in the rankings? i.e what have they got to defend soon and what is their lowest counter?

Good luck in the SF, ladies. I believe they'll have a day off tomorrow.

They still have a score of 15 in their list - but they they lose 115 pts from Nottingham 75k early next month.

On the bright side very little apart from that 115 points over the whole of the grass court season.

I'm sure they will get wildcards for the WTA tour events on grass plus Wimbledon(if they don't get in direct), so any one win in these events will be enough to preserve their rankings.

Again, I thought that was much closer than it should have been, but they came through it with no scares.

Quick and easy doesn't seem to be their style - but new CH :)

Hopefully more to come.

As of now, including 110 points this week ( so far! ) that takes Joss & Anna to 955 points, 560 from 6 counters from last year plus 395 from 5 counters this year.

The 6 from last year are :

115 due off 08/06
15 due off 15/06
180 due off 20/07
80 due off 27/07
110 due off 03/08
60 due off 19/10

So, yes, just the 115 points of significance in the grass season, but a lot in the following few weeks then not much really at all after 03/08.

There's a little bit of Hev about them. They rarely win as easily as they maybe should, but USUALLY they do find a way to win eventually after a blip.
