In the G4 in Turkey:

Lawrence Perrin has won two matches, and going well.

Josh Pistorius won his first match and then had to withdraw.

(q) Harry Butler got a win too, before losing to the third seed.

 

In the G5 in Namibia,

(q) Bradley Buckland won is first round and has now just beaten the 10th seed, which is a nice result.

Olivia Elliott got a win before losing to the 7th seed.

Qualifier Bradley lost his third match in the main draw in Namibia.

Olivia is into the semis of the doubles, with partner.


In Turkey:

R3: Lawrence PERRIN (GBR) [4] 6-2 7-5 Oguzhan CEYLAN (TUR) [16]


Lawrence, harry Butler and Julina Lewis have all won two matches and are all in the quarters of the doubles.

Lawrence won again, into the semis . . .

QF: Lawrence PERRIN (GBR) [4] 6-1 7-6(6) Alen AVIDZBA (RUS) [8]

He plays a Turkish lad next who thrashed the second seed.


He also won his doubles QF and then got a walkover into the final (which is always nice). The other two boys came very close:

Quarterfinal

Lawrence PERRIN (GBR) / Cagatay Sami SOKE (TUR) [3] 6-3 4-6 [10-3] Yan BONDAREVSKIY (RUS) / Duarte VALE (POR) [6]

Syrry Can KORKMAZ (TUR) / Alp SENTAY (TUR) 4-6 6-0 [10-7] Harry BUTLER (GBR) / Julian LEWIS (GBR)

Semifinal

Lawrence PERRIN (GBR) / Cagatay Sami SOKE (TUR) [3] Walkover Martin ATANASOV (BUL) / Kaloyan DIMITROV (BUL)


In Namibia, Olivia is into the doubles final:

Lawrence is into the singles final:

Semifinal

Will play the top seed, Lev KAZAKOV (RUS) [1], in the final.

And also, as above, in the doubles final, so going for the double. . . .

It is a great win, but although only 13, Olivia has the height and physique of an 18 yo.  And also a terrific forehand.
