A telling stat - Anna faced 16 bps and saved 10 of them, while she had 11 bps herself and took 9 of them.

Anna will go number one ranked Scot ( and GB no 12 ) on Monday week if she wins today. Needs to win the title to move ahead of Fran to no 11. Big gap then to the top 10.

Certainly the active players, Fran, Izzy, Anna and indeed Laura D ( now within 2 points of GB no 14 ) have been able to move up the GB rankings just through steady points accumulation plus points dropping off from others.

Anna heading for the top 600 would expect her to pass Fran fairly soon and be in the gap to Naomi and Harriet and probably with them by autumn. She has another two weeks in Turkey with very weak fields may even be top 500 by the end of the month.
