Joe must be getting to the end of his first proper pro year, so will finally have his first 'real' ranking.
Although one expects (obviously) the ex-college students to move through the lower ranks faster, there must still be a learning curve to being on tour, especially in the first year, and so you'd expect further good movement in the second year. As well as natural progress. Bob must certainly have his eye on him
Yes, I put Joe in my 24 ( clearly including these already there ) that might interest Bob for his '20 in the top 500'. I doubt I mentioned anyone that he hasn't got a partial eye on, I suspect he has a long list
Though while I gave by mentioning 24, I took away by then having serious doubts about 20 of them being there at once. Howver, targets should be challenging!
I do think that Joe has a good chance of being top 500 at least.
Disappointing for Joe he should have taken the first set being a break up and ahead in the tie break. I just get the impression that he struggles to close matches out based on previous results.
Evo should walk to the semi final and probably final his next opponent is a Dasha Laura D type player who is ranked in the 600s with points entirely composed of Egypt 10k quarter and semi final points.
