RE: Week 19 - Challenger (€50,000+H) - Samarkand, Uzbekistan - red clay

For Luke and Liam is the much more expensive air fare to Uzbekistan tempered by that fact the draw would generally be lower ranked than a european equivalent event? Is this why they have travelled so far?

WOW. Just WOW. Given Luke's recent form, how many people saw that result coming. I have to confess, I didn't.

Cue Bob's Top 500 comment wink

Great chance for either Brydan or Luke to go very deep in this tournament now.

I've stubbornly stuck to my beliefs that Bambo has a big future, even if his progression hasn't been quite as slick as everyone would have hoped. Hopefully this win is evidence that Bambo has really turned a corner and his upward progression will start from here.

Fabulous stuff, would love to see some footage of this match to see how big his fearhand and serve were today.

Does anyone else think there is a 'Samson and Delilah' thing going on here? But in reverse?

Ever since Luke 'de-haired', he suddenly has hit form !

Really brilliant. And shows there's no need to spend all your time messing around in 10ks . . .

Uzbekistan smiling on the Brits . . .
