After you "introducing" him on here so to speak I.....and I am sure most on here......will follow his results and support with much keener interest. Good luck to him.
Hi Adam, and a really big thank you for letting us know what is going on with Josh.
Very sorry to hear about your father, it must leave a big loss.
RJA was a big fan (still is, I'm sure) of Josh a couple of years ago and, based largely on that and having heard about him re the Maccabi games, I watched him play at the NTC (well, watched others too of course, but spent quite a while sitting watching Josh). He has a lovely game and I'd looked out for him since and wondered . . . I'm so pleased he's decided to train in Spain and give it a real go. He'll have the support of everyone here, you can count on it
hardly surprising but it wouldve been good to see a few more games under his belt
what he can take from it however (this can be seen as good or bad), is that on 90% of his service games he had a game point, he NEEDS to concentrate on that.
coupled with 4 break points, he couldve swung it slightly had he been more effective on those points.

anyway, you have to learn from these things...
on to the next one

It's been a good two weeks for Josh. Losing today to a guy who was almost Top 150 just a couple of years ago is no disgrace. Sometimes lessons learned from defeat are more beneficial in the long run than wins.
Hoping Josh remains positive. On to next week now.
