I don't mind Marcus trying to attract additional sponsors it's so far not proved very successful

Worrying signs as Marcus' hand is regularly going to his lower back between points. He told me before the start that it has been troubling him again this week.

 Eased up as the match went on, I'm told. Quite chilly and cold wind didn't help in the early stages.

Certainly looks like a summer window opportunity for Marcus to improve his ranking.

Hopefully he can defend 18 title points here and stay top 400, then he only has a further 14 ranking points to defend before September.

So be very good if he can stay fit and head upwards through the 300s.
