Marcus may be struggling to get over the line in his matches, but his sense of humour is on top form. Here are a couple of tweets.

Got the win 76 75. 50 up in second, fancied some extra court time. Didn't choke at all. Honest.

Probably going to only have shakes or soup for the rest of the day. Probably choke on that still

Currently building Marcus a new website has videos , shop. Etc some of his comedy's are hilarious and got to get his impression of nadal on the site ! Any ideas for website that might drive traffic or create income welcome

No idea on the websites, but Marcus is involved with PTP as well. Is there a conflict of interests or are A1 quite happy to allow Marcus exposure elsewhere?

Marcus's win in the L16 was actually by 7-6(5) 7-5.

Hopefully he can get the win in the QF to at least pick up SF points and then some more.

We do not benefit commercially from sponsorship particularly as we are B2B rather that B2consumer . Not sure who PTP are ?

Hi Gary,I work in this field and would be happy to give you some advice. Of course Marcus putting links in his tweets back to interesting stuff on the website would be a good start.

Few other ideas:

Regular newsletter that you sign up through the website

Competition for a match with Marcus, not monetized but will create traffic and interest for you

When you get enough traffic you could sign up for Adwords (but returns are low so probably better to try for a higher commission deal on a related product through an affiliate scheme)

The shop has the most potential if Marcus profile continues to grow, perhaps some suggestions from fellow members on what would make good items?

Marcus looking good today. 6-3 5-1* up. Let's hope he doesn't "choke" like yesterday.

Marcus continues serenely on his way:

QF:  (1) Marcus Willis WR 398 defeated (6) Federico Zeballos (BOL) WR 544 by 3 & 1  smile

*******

SF:  (1) Marcus Willis WR 398 vs Pablo Vivero (ESP) WR 677 (CH = 671 last week)

Vivero dumped out the third seed, Iván Arenas (WR 495/CH 353 last May), courtesy of a double bagel!

Was just looking at Marcus' ranking points, he needs a win here to just maintain his ranking as 18 points(Edinburgh Futures win) will be coming off when points from this tournament go on.
