Week 17 - Spain F11 ($10,000) - Móstoles (Hard)

Marcus Willis is third seed in the doubles, playing with Spaniard, Jose Checa Calvo.

Edit:  have just noticed, as a result of checking on its location that "Móstoles" (situated south west of Madrid) has a stress mark over the "o", so I've added it!

If Marcus survives until Friday, which probably means the QF of the singles, I have every intention of being there.

Having gone down 3-1 in the final set, Marcus has now broken twice in a row to lead *4-3.

It's OK Bob, he is a break up in the final set.

I suspect a bit of rustiness after the back problems.

His back can't be that bad. He's served 18 aces so far. biggrin

Marcus holds for 5-3*.  Just 4 more bombs needed.

Phew. 21 bombs saw Marcus though in the end. I can relax a bit now.

Marcus really needs to kick on now. Should have been well inside the top 300 a good while ago
