I saw most of the match, on a dodgy free fuzzy livestream with reflections on the monitor from the bright sun, and the gas heating engineer drowning out the sound - so I didn't really see a lot of it. Well done Andy and Juls - Andy is going to be a busy boy, through in both singles and doubles. He is certainly getting match practice on the clay.
Edit - oh dear ^^. Not so good for the elder Murray, then. Mischa Z gets his revenge on Andy by beating his big bro.

Always a potential banana skin. The Peya/Soares v Murray/Rojer match is an interesting one. The former pairing is, for me, one of the two or three that can beat anyone on any given day. But Murray and Rojer would not, I'm sure, be the pairing they'd like to see in the SF. Will be fascinating to see what happens.
Can anybody help me on the pronunciation of Rojer's surname? He is Dutch, his Christian names are French. The umpire today and yesterday is pronouncing his name as "Roy-air". Is that right?
SF: (1) Alexander Peya & Bruno Soares (AUT/BRA) CR 33 (17+16) defeated Andy Murray & Jean-Julien Rojer (NED) CR 584 (572+11) by 3 & 2
Only to be expected, I suppose. That said - & idle speculation - but had they managed to squeak home, they'd've had a great chance in the final against the Zverev brothers.

Have to admit I've wondered the same myself. See here. Then again again (recorded by Dutchman), so still up in the air a bit, methinks...
Yes, that's cleared that up then - not! SC, I couldn't find a pronunciation by a Dutchman (or anybody else) in your second link, but I googled it and found one.

Playing Peya and Soares fresh it might be an interesting match. Playing Peya and Soares when they are fresh and you are on your third match of the day (with more to come tomorrow) is bound to be less so.
