Kyle was again down a break point but a couple of big serves got him through.

Kyle takes the first set 6-4.

A level-headed set from Kyle amidst all the breaks and Marcora's flashiness.

At the start of the set Marcora's 1HBH looked top class. He was hitting it with both consistency and depth. But now that he's gone off the boil he really seems to have lost all patience with it - going for far too much too much of the time.

Oh, good, the Nike stuff is nice anyway. Not ashamed to say I have that yellow and pink number Kokkinakis, Liam and others were wearing at the start of the year!

Glad I got back in time for this one. My first thought was actually about his clothes, too - wearing the same shirt that Kyrgios has been built up to wear in Barcelona I believe. Come on Kyle, take this one!

Kyle stepped it up in that game. Played a lot more assertively, pushing the Italian around with a few big FHs.

Really sensible play from Kyle, just staying solid and allowing Marcora to hand him a succession of points.
