Fantastic news from Qatar with 4 wins from 4 and looking ahead, some very winnable matches in the L16 too. However the last one listed above looks a bit one-sided

Whoops! Oversight duly remedied.
I also forgot to add yesterday evening that Marzi's opponent, Belot, upset the seventh seed, the rising young Aussie, Harry Bourchier, by 2 & 4, so I think he's going to be a bit of a handful.
Belot is a solid, standard player, but one of the many in France who was getting near the top 500 or so at age 20/21 and then couldn't make it happen, and dropped away, doing other stuff.
He's has a dreadful start to the year (played 6 tournament, won 1 match, although some very close matches), and a feeble year last year - lost to players ranked outside the top 1000, lost to Imran Aswat, barely a decent tournament the whole year - though picked up some OK domestic wins.
I think it might be quite close (I think he's slightly underranked at 922) but I don't think Marzi should be scared of him (and rising youngsters are notoriously unreliable so wouldn't necessarily think that Con played well to beat Harry).
Vibert has a very similar profile but seems to not play in France - on tour nearly all the time. Farris beat him last year. Dave should manage fine.
