RE: Week 15 - Greece F4 ($10,000) - Heraklion (Hard)

JWH wins 6-0 6-0 :)

Although his opponent was only a WC 17 year-old local kid . . .

However, given his start to the year, Josh would probably take any victory he can get . . .

Got to be a decent chance for Joe. Surreaux was the player Toby beat over two days in the 1st round last week. Hoping the Joe will have picked up some tops from that one.

Although the comments re Surreaux's lack of form etc. still obviously hold good, in terms of styles of play, I was far more confident re Toby winning last week than I am about Joe's chances. But hope to be wrong . .. Joe's game does sometimes seem to really 'come together' (and other times very much not . . .)

Joe and Josh could be an interesting partnership. Joe and David O'Hare seems to be petering out.

OK thanks - it must have been fairly recent as Joe and Dave were both at Wirral until Dave got injured

Joe broke and served for the second set at 6*-5

But got broken back. Now the TB . . .

JWH a break down . . .

Shame. Joe had his chance in that second set.

But, as feared above, Surreaux came through, Joe losing in two tie-breaks, 7-6(3) 7-6(4)

JWH has broken back . . . but instantly broken again . .

And, having lost the first 3-6, yet again JWH breaks, only to be broken back the very next game - the number of times that happens with him is flabbergasting - assuming his coach has highlighted the fact to him?????

And now at 5*-3 - serving for the set - time to break the habit of a lifetime, or just plain prove me wrong !
