(Amelia gets slightly lucky as her opponent was losing her QR1 match, against a ranked and seeded player, and then the other had to retire suddenly so Merdeeva came through)

In the match for her QF opponent, the fourth seeds declared w/o so they've got an unseeded RUS/SRB pair next

As mentioned before, Lucy and Serban got slightly lucky in their doubles draw, and proceeded to take full advantage , winning 6-2 6-3 and so are now into the semis.

Lucy is actually a decent doubles player and has won quite a few doubles titles, so not really a suprise
