Second week of tournaments in Malta, but this is just a grade 5

Boys

Matt Story(8), Jeremy Gschweindtner(15), James Davis (9), Ricky Hernandez (13), Luke Hammond (2) all got byes into round 2

Jack Burkill bt Vital Fleurin Leuch (LIE) 6-3 6-0

Ryan Gaskill LL lost to David Pata (ROU) 3-6 7-6 3-6

James Davis is into the semis - well done, going well.

And has the 'luck' to play a Qualifier who won against the top seed by retirement.

Megan Davies also through. Plays Chivu (ROM) next.

Megan with Alexandra Hunter is also through to the doubles final, so nice tournament for her. :)

Hernandez and Story are also through to the final and will play the French pair who put out the GB top seeds, Davis and Hammond

Megan should not be playing grade 5 - she is too good for that. However I suspect schoolwork comes first and this was the only suitable tournament in the Easter holidays. I'd expect her to win singles and doubles.
