First set slipped away from a winning position and just missed too many chances in the second (broken twice from game point up).

Bit disappointing as it looked good early on, but not to be and she made her seeding.

Yeah with the exception of Sevastova who is the class act in the field, the western players have really struggled this week.

Quarters is a good result this week, and Omae looks to be heading back up the rankings this year too.

Oh that was a really bad MTB, particularly from Raina (who had been the far stronger half of the pair up until that point), and they go out 62 26 10-5

Crowd was pretty good, and quite loud, but unable to pull them through.
