Sam has only just started hitting again and with a wrist injury may be out for some time. I think she has been helping coaching the youngsters at Bath.
Jade is still recovering from back issues and last I heard may be a while before she recovers.
Like Jaffa, I had got the impression (based on nothing really) that Jade had quit.
She said she was doing a proofreading course, at one point (although why not? If you're injured you've got to do something). And seems very involved with various tennis trusts and foundations that do sessions at schools, for the local council etc. etc. Again, of course, this might just be filling in time. But my impression was that she was really enjoying it and starting a new part of her career (might be completely wrong).
To be honest Sam and Jade had a good few years in the top 500 Sam in particular but I wouldn't say we need them. 3 Kats Anna Harriet Freya Izzy Maia and a few others will have the women's game sorted.

see a few of them not sure about Maia Lumsden if she will breakthrough Elly Dean is better than some you mention.

Yes, but as she has not hit a ball in competition for over 6 months or so now, you can't really count on her to launch the British girls' revival.
