Well, encouraging week. Can't say I was encouraged by last week, but at least he got some tennis matches in, which no doubt helped to this week. So in the grand scheme of things ...

That seems from what you guys say to have been a good level of play today so looks back in pretty decent nick.

Liam seems to be having a year of decent performances and respectable losses against good quality opponents but poor performances against weaker opponents.

8 places as things stand but a fair few others can still pass him depending on their results.

It's a good time to be Liam. One thing's for sure, he seems to learn and improve an awful lot after playing better players or bigger tournaments. Let's hope that continues after a few wildcards on the grass.
