According to the ATP, Liam & Ilhan have never played one another before, while Marcus lost to him in straight sets on grass in Nottingham in 2010!

Certainly fair to say that this run of three challengers have been a huge disappointment for Colin and Jonny.

Obviously an easy mistake to make NOT, I'm mixing up Ilhan with Jaziri the Tunisian player.

1st set to Ilhan 6-3. An enjoyable set to watch with Liam playing well apart from the last game of the set when serving to stay in it. Certainly looks like a Challenger level player but this match highlights the difference compared to a player just outside the top 100. Ilhan's serve, return of 2nd serve and forehand making the difference right now.

Ilhan is just that bit more penetrating and solid, he'll probably lose by a similar scoreline in the second... I'd love to be wrong though!
