Can't believe clay is Brydan's favourite surface (!) so not surprised.

Think he's just trying to get some practice in, to give the clay season the best shot. After all, guess he'll be in the Roland Garros qualies no problem . . .

 He is scheduled to play in the Mexican hard court challengers that are coming up (starting next week) so he probably thought he would give this a go given he was already headed for Mexico.

That makes sense. Hopefully, the hard will reap better results.

With no points to defend before Wimbledon, and plenty time away from the dirt, Brydan certainly should be back into the top 200 before too long.

I have never hid my deep dislike for Klein but in the spirit of this forum I largely avoid talking about him and have no problem if other people here choose to support him. My post was not remotely judgemental but did provide some context about this result which simply going by rankings looked to be a very poor one.
