I'm glad there are some Cornet fans out there - someone needs to 'balance' me out !
I just think she moans the whole time, and blames the crowd, and throws a hissy fit (actually, I don't mind the hissy fits, they're quite entertaining, it's the constant 'sourness' that gets to me).
I remember that match in Memphis, Hev was pretty bad that day.
But, if she plays at a solid level here, she should have enough to set up a meeting with (the apparently despised ) Kerber
I.F.: you're not alone - I'm a Kerber fan too, all heart, all effort. She's also excessively lovely off court.
Watch Kerber, for example, on Fed Cup duty, she's magic.
Over achieved for her raw talent.
I like the players for whom it doesn't just come easy, who have to work really, extra, hard, beyond even the diligent Tour norm, for what they achieve.
Like Errani, another player I really admire, though I know many criticise her for being a 'pusher', or the moon balls; I love how much she gets out of herself.

Well that could've been worse I suppose: time to pull that H2H back a bit Heather please :)
Kerber isn't someone I warm to, I admit, but she 's maxed a lot higher in the rankings than I expected so I respect that ...assuming she has indeed passed her rankings peak...here's hoping anyway that Heather gets the chance to, and does, continue her current slide back down them!
If the H2H wasn't the way it is, I'd be very confident, however I'm still very hopeful that Hev can come through here. Hopefully Hev will have an undisturbed nights sleep, unlike last year when she woke up with a nasty rib injury.
Probably worth a mention that even with that last Memphis meeting, Heather was still an 18 yo with a ranking and CH in the 140s. Evgeniya was 22 and 2011 is shown as her CH 74.
