Ems doubles opponents are the Plipeuch siblings. The eldest is actually the highest ranked doubles player in the draw but little sis is outside the top 1000.

If Harriet plays well I can see her making semis.

Em will do very well to make the quarters as Lottner awaits in round 2 and the kid has been on fire of late. The highest ranked, and definitely the toughest,  unseeded player in the draw.

Anna has a chance.

Anna up 5-3*, withstood a lot of early pressure on serve and seems to be digging in

Em 6-3 had to save a couple of break points at *4-3, closer than we might have expected
