And now it says 5pm! They've already postponed the doubles till tomorrow - I wonder if they'll end up doing that with the singles too. If anyone wants to check for themselves, it's here: irvingtennisclassic.com/
And I've just seen that they've moved all the singles to the main court, so Kyle will be second match on after 5pm (10pm UK time). So that's definitely after my bedtime.

Won't make much difference for me despite being 3 hours behind the UK. I have now got my internet back but now the electric has been cut off so I am in our reception area on the iPhone. Can't be that I haven't paid the bill as I only moved into this apartment 4 days ago.
If I am lucky, the battery will last long enough for me to follow livescores but that's about all.
In further moderately irritating news Kyle and James have given up a walkover in their doubles quarter final. If they hadn't have done so Kyle could have potentially had to play 4 matches tomorrow (singles QF + SF and doubles QF + SF).
Interesting read re all the comments about James and Kyle and the Davis Cup.
Of course, James is huge favourite to be GB no 2 Davis Cup player in July if Andy is fit to take his place as no 1 and I fully expect it to be James.
All things considered though I stick to my minority view that James is neither undroppable nor a shoo-in.
Come July, I may well think that, just as I was aghast last year at so many calls about Kyle to play against the US rather than James. It was very clearly James for me. Kyle's not ready now, but he is much closer to being ready than he ever was for that US tie last year even though it was on clay, supposedly ( but never to me that significantly ) Kyle's then best surface.
In the DC, the Brit number 2 is likely to be the underdog, with very little chance of winning easily in 3 straight sets.
Until Kyle has improved his ranking sufficiently to be a favourite (about WR15), or won more 5 set matches than James, (which could amount to the same thing, given the 5-setters would have to be at one of the 2 intervening Slams), then pick James.
