It will be interesting to see how she does in the remain junior GS as the ball must have been coming back a bit harder and faster this week, it may feel like slow mo. Not meaning to tempt fate but What is our under 16 senior wins track record like?

An excellent day for Katie. First WTA ranking would be nice (especially as that would mean winning the title!) but as we all know, it will come. I would not be surprised if Katie went on to win the title, nor if she lost tomorrow; youth can be so unpredictable.

Good to see Katie winning and taking out top 500 players having run a couple of high ranked players close over the last couple of weeks.

10ks can be a real mixed bag in terms of standard and the true test will be when she steps up to 25ks. Shame she is playing Easter Bowl when Barnstaple is on as she would have almost been guaranteed a wildcard.

Katie was absolutely annilating her opponent from 3-1 down in the 1st to a break up in the 2nd but has been broken from 40-15 and then 40-0 up to go 1-4 down. Hoping it's not fatigue.

Back from 5-2 down into an arguably decisive tie-break.

I do not think that a 15yo schoolgirl can be a favourite in a trial of stamina with a professional athlete.
