It's been said before but Ed is one of the (relatively) few GB players who is now in a really good position in the run up to Wimbledon, 15 points to defend in April but that's it. Do hope he really kicks on to that top 200 place.
Brydan obviously is the best placed - nothing at all, his top 200 place must be guaranteed. Unless he just plays challengers and gets a little unlucky, but unlikely - he may well be nearer 150 than 200 in a month's time or so.
Dan Cox, Alex Ward and Dan Smethurst, on the other hand, have a lot of points waiting to come off . . .
SF: (3) Ed Corrie WR 246 beat Eric Quigley (USA) WR 458 (CH 428 last month) by 4 & 4
Ed has made the Final here for the second year in a row and due to the calendar shift, he'll have the Sherbrooke points for both 2014 and 2015 on his ranking for a couple of weeks.
He will play Gigounon or Sandgren in the Final.

Given he'd only just flown over from France, that's a great week. Here's hoping for another next week. And then back to the UK for the 15k - wow, it's pretty intense. But no reason Ed can't get into the top 200 in the next two months, if all goes well. At age 27, he's only just entering his prime !
Thats a really good win for Ed given Tennys recent form (he was the opponent that beat Smethurst in the challenger semi a couple of years back that sparked his surge in form) I hope Ed can get a couple of more challenger wins this week, beyond James Ward, Kyle and Liam I think he's the only other player on the mens side that has a hope in hell of a Wimbledon WC
