Well done, Ed. He's been playing a lot of tennis, and a lot of good tennis too. Challenger last week in France, 15k this in Canada, Challenger next week, back to UK the week after for another 15k. And doubles too - pretty intense.
Dan has 2 match points in the tiebreak when I looked, only for Quigley to win the last 4 points of the match
QF: Dan Smethurst WR 335 lost to Eric Quigley (USA) WR 458 (CH 428 last month) by 4-6 6-4 7-6(6)
QF: (3) Ed Corrie WR 246 beat Matteo Donati (ITA) WR 416 (CH 284 last Aug) by 6-4 7-6(4)
SF: (3) Ed Corrie WR 246 v Eric Quigley (USA) WR 458 (CH 428 last month)
H2H 3-2, 2-0 last year, both in Canada, including last year's QFs

GB on a shirt, Davis Cup still gleaming, 79 years of hurt, never stopped us dreaming ... 29/11/2015 that dream came true!
Final: (1) Ed Corrie & Dan Smethurst CR 419 (182+237) defeated (2) Kevin King & Dean O'Brien (USA/RSA) CR 423 (162+261) by 3 & 2
Much easier than I expected.
I think it's last night's semi-final against Gigounon & Michalicka that they won 3 & 2 - I don't think the Final has been played yet.
Whoops... Just not my day... Wishful thinking, I think... It all started going wrong last night, but it was quite late & I was very tired after a really trying day at work (IT problems meant that we were without e-mail, so electronic contact with the outside world, for most of the day ). Also very misleading to have the ITF LS still showing yesterday's semi-final result today!
