40-15 to the French but a break in play as Mr Murray gets treatment for a problem with his leg after an awkward fall.

Andy looks in a great deal of pain after taking a tumble. Hopefully it's nothing too serious.

Looked more like his hip or groin when he went down.

You would have better information; I'm only listening, not watching.

Phew hopefully that injury won't affect Andy tomorrow.

No apparent lasting ill effects of Andy's hip/thigh (?) injury as team GB takes the third set by 7-6(5), despite JWT's serving bombs, to nudge in front by two sets to one.  smile

Have to get back to work - but what a match! Amazing.

Yay !

The most immediate concern re Andy's tumble was clearly today. Got to think that this doubles and Andy's reverse singles are must wins.

Absolutely so. The BBC live text was leading me to fear the worst, so I was delighted to see GB had taken the set when I looked again!

I just hope he can last out this match and recover sufficiently for tomorrow. A fully fit Andy certainly starts favourite for the singles, but a niggling injury would level things up somewhat

I suspect if Gasquet comes in it will be for Tsonga, which I reckon will be good news if we are 2-1 up.

I prefer an Andy vs Simon match up to Andy vs Gasquet.

At last I can relax!  Team GB takes the lead in the tie by winning the doubles by 4-6 6-3 7-6(5) 6-1, with Andy finally in full flow, ably supported by Jamie!  biggrin  Seems as though Clément's team (doubles) selection backfired on the Frogs... wink
