Congrats to the  Millot family then, first kid is a magical time, wish I could have those years again!  But why travel to Quimper??!!  Maybe  his strange performance was because he was beating himself up about that decision.  Anyway, back home to mummy and baby: Vincent and family we wish you all the best!

At least 13 precious ranking points :)

5 for qualifying plus 8 for R1 win.

Good stuff, Ed.

I believe your incorrect, unless the rules have changed.

For instance at Knoxville, Marcus picked up 18pts for qualifying and reaching QF - 15pts + 3pts

 I agree.

And look at last week:  Brands qualified at Cherbourg. And went on to win the first round in the main draw. He got 13 points (8 + 5).  Teixeira qualified and got to the QF. He got 22 points (17 + 5)

Good crowd, considering it's court 2, and no French players - nice to see.

Yep it has always been qualifying point in addition to main draw points in challengers and atps

Sadly, Ed and Sean loose the tie break 10-7 after some poor service games.

Talking of picky rules, does Ed now get board and lodging, now he's in the main draw?

I seem to remember some horribly unfair rule that qualifiers didn't get it, no matter how far they went in the main draw? Am I making that up?

(Of course, he'd have got it yesterday/tonight for the doubles but that's finished now).
