I agree with you Indie, Luke should give challenger qualifying ago but then needs a sustained period of ITF events very much in the way he did with Liam through the states last summer. I hope he is getting the support he requires to do this.
I feel strongly those with the potential to go for it from 18 rather than choosing the safer college route should get a three year developmental contract, with a tapered year 4 and 5 to facilitate a push on into the top 150 and financial independence.
Liam's progression last year suggests the year on year targets should allow a totally focused 22 year old the opportunity to apply it to his or her tennis and breaking the top 150.
