when Heather was rising quickly up the rankings last year, she won a lot of matches against players who I think in her mind she knew she was better than. it really helped her confidence so I think its good for Heather to have matches like this, winning well and hopefully taking that confidence into tighter matches with higher level players.
Competitive matches should certainly battle harden Hev. She's a bit up and down at the moment, hard to know what to predict.
If Kozlova was too good last week, then Zheng could be too if Heather has a similar malaise as in Dubai.
But, I'm more concerned about being in the same qualies bracket as Gajdoová. Jarka has played some very good tennis this year already (which I'm generally very pleased about, she's had a pretty traumatic 3-4 years or so), beating Kerber, Petkovic & Cibulkova - all around top 10 at the time and pushing Kvitová all the way in Sydney.
If both get through, depending on which Jarka, and which Hev, shows up, that could be very tricky. (I realise that's an awful lot of ifs and buts and speculation)
Edit: To/Too I keep suddenly mixing these up, never having done so before!
