Longer, it was 1999 when Stevenson had her run to the Wimbledon SF as an 18 yo.

I just checked since my memory was of her being pretty young.

Her CH shows she went on to be pretty effective in the early 2000s before certainly awful injury problems.

In R2, she will play former top 30 player Sofia Arvidsson or 15-year-old wild card Michaela Gordon - the latter is 4-0* up in the 1st set.
