RE: Week 6 - Challenger ($50,000) - Launceston, Australia - Hard

Such a shame kyle cruised the first set, ticking on nicely in the second and then got hurt. I hope he has time to rest it before the flight and then allow it to settle properly, before some conditioning work and back out on tour. I really feel for all the players when they get injured its so frustrating when playing for let alone when it's your livelihood

That's tough :( But another Ozzie youngster coming through well; they've certainly got a stable of them:

L16: Brydan Klein WR 243 lost to (WC) Harry Bourchier (AUS) WR 1006 (CH 810 in Dec; 19yo, junior CH 24 in 2013) 2-6 7-6(5) 6-4

That's a tough loss. You can't stand still in this game.

No surprise - Bourchier looked a good player against Kyle and I've lost count of the number of weeks Brydan has played consecutively - he must be due a rest.

He hasn't got through that many rounds though. I guess you could argue he's been 'working' for two days a week and 'having a rest' for five . . . Seriously, though, his results overall would imply that he's been playing pretty .... I feel this is going to be an important year for Brydan.

yes, its exciting with all the younger players coming through and especially for Australia and America who have really struggled in the mens game for quite a while.

noticed that Jared Donaldson beat Stefan Kozlov in straight sets in Memphis 1st round this week.   Two more excellent prospects for the US and the game.
