Kyle had to retire it seems, not sure what the problem was but he did look to be limping when he walked to the net to shake hands.

He had treatment in the first set and I think it was his back that was the problem. He didn't look right after that.

R1:  Hiroki Moriya & Zhang Ze (JPN/CHN) CR 1056 (684+372) defeated Brydan Klein & Luke Saville (AUS) CR 800 (211+589) by 2-6 6-4 [10-4] bleh

Moriya (4) making up for being dumped out by Bourchier in straight sets in the singles! hmm

lower backs and hamstrings can be inter related.

It was very early in the morning and I was half a sleep, so I could be wrong. I'm pretty sure it was at 5-2 in the first set if you want to watch the replay.
