Will Kyle get a seeding for this one I wonder? This week's rankings jump has taken him from virtually the bottom of the list to pretty close to top 8...

Surprised to see Kyle's name at all. He has already played the Aus Open qualifiers. He will then have played Hong Kong, Burnie, Launceston in the 3 weeks immediately prior to this week, so to fly back to Europe and rush straight into another tournament may be too much. I won't be surprised at all if he ends up withdrawing here, particularly if he has a good run in Launceston.

I will be interested to see which option James Ward takes - top seed at 100K challenger or possible main draw at ATP 250. I'm guessing he will stay in Europe and play Marseille

I think now he's in the main draw of a challenger he can't withdraw and play main tour.

James is top ranked entry for New Delhi so maybe (hope this isn't the kiss of death!) some easy points en route to breaking into the top 100? :)

Or consolidating his position within said top 100, of course smile

Table updated - lots of entries at Sharm...

Is Katie B injured?

No signs of Eleanor Dean still.

Not a lot of GB men, I suspect some may be having a crack at ATP or challenger qualifying

As far as I can see, Katie B retired from her USA 25K week 2 qualifying match and hasn't been seen in action since.

Not signed up for Kolkata challenger week 8 so maybe going to play New Delhi challenger week 7 followed by Dubai ATP

Any ideas on what events the doubles players have entered for this week? ie: Jamie, colin, jonny and dom. Any down for Marseille 250?

Edmunds name has disappeared from Wroclaw

No great surprise. As said, the surprise was more that Kyle was down for Wroclaw in the first place. And now that he has played so much tennis far away from there it certainly makes sense.

In response to my own question. There are 3 pairs involving British players at Marseille. Jamie + John Peers ; Dom + Florin Mergea ; Colin + Jonny. The Skupski's are first alternates on the entry list.
