Naomi gets Belgian player, Bonaventure, next (now THAT'S a good name . . .)

I've never heard of her - currently WR 200, high of 194, ex-junior CH 137.

Meanwhile, Pliskova knows how to apply the pressure just at the right moment and wins 7-5 7-5 v Freya. But the young Notts girl must surely be very encouraged by her showing here.

Good win from Naomi, but have to say Marta seems to be going backwards in the same way as Tara and it may well be coincidental, but both were at NTC together until the regime changed
