I watched a fair few number of games from the Chirico/Osaka match.

Chirico is a better player than i first thought. Great backhand and a good mover.

Osaka hits the ball so hard. She's one to watch

Should have had this set burried by now :(

And they've somehow lost the set 6-4.

Ouch. They were all over them just couldn't convert the break points and paid the price. Shame.

Thoroughly enjoyed those tie-breaks.

Really good result.

 

NB Julie says she loves playing with Em because Em lets her get away with all her bad jokes when she's on court, and even laughs, sometimes.

Em and Julie were 4-5* in the 2nd, recovered to take it to a tie break and won that and the DTB.

Cako fell apart serving for the match and after missing set point at *6-5 deuce they played a great tiebreaker and held on in a very tense super breaker.

The hug between them was so sweet. They are so happy.

Match will be stored and so available for replay for anyone who wants to watch it.

Champions!!!!
