Not being the Daily Fail, I think Evo loses out to Marcus will do.

Not a great shock and well done, Marcus.

Hopefully Evo can still get in as a LL.

Not great looking qualifying slots, though purely on rankings there's relatively not a huge deal between these seeds and the unseeded direct entrants. Challengers ( the middle ground ) generally tend to have the most even spread of entrants, which probably largely accounts for many seeds exiting before their theoretical time.

I'll predict three Brits into R2, but clearly hope for more.

Was going to comment the same thing about the serve (very unlike Milton). Be interesting to see if much has changed in terms of technique or if it is gym sessions over the winter break.

Glasgow challenger doubles : 

several decent British pairs in the doubles draw 

I hope Marcus & Lewis can build on last weeks futures success and lift their 1st challenger title

It is 3 ranking points for qualifying and 7 for a R1 win ( i.e. 10 for Q + R1 win ).

I really do enjoy watching Marcus play - he's so eccentric but backs it up with a huge bomb of a serve.

Looks to have lost some weight and is definitely moving better. Just seems to be snatching at the final ball a bit.

That said it's 2-2
