Hopefully Marcus will get one of the better draws(avoid Cox...)
Milts is a break up in the second set and must be serving well. 13 aces and yet to drop his serve. If Milts is serving well he is a danger against anyone.
Does ranking come into a LL spot decision? I ask because whoever loses out of Dan and Marcus will be the highest ranked possibility. 4 qualifiers and 1 luck loser.....now that'd be nice!
Yes in challengers it goes by highest ranked loser in FQR (unless the ruling has changed).
So you are correct if there is a LL spot available it will go to Evo or Willis assuming they sign in for it.
It has changed, apparently - ATP rule VII.7.20.a.i. now says: "Lucky Losers shall be selected based on the computer rankings used for the determination of qualifying seeding as follows: The order of the two (2) highest ranked players shall be randomly drawn, thereafter the order shall follow the players rankings, unless there are two (2) or more withdrawals at the time the Qualifying competition is fi nished in which case the size of the random draw will be the number of withdrawals plus two (2). In the case where players from the previous round are included in the draw they will be placed behind all players who have lost in the final round of qualifying."
So not as much uncertainty as in slams and Futures/ITFs, where the draw is between the top 4 (or more), but it doesn't mean Evo isn't guaranteed the first LL place.

Hardly a big surprise - Marcus had won 3 of their last 4 meetings. At least the scoreline suggests Evo didn't tank (whether or not he knew about the rule change I mentioned above)
