We are guaranteed 1 GB qualifier.

in FQR Joe plays that pesky German who has done well in the last couple of weeks, Bambo has Middlekoop. Marcus plays Evo or Strachan and Milts if he gets through will probably play Bossel.

good day in glasgow for the brits.
In the only match still going Griekspoor has just taken the first set off the 4th seed Bossel - if he can dump him out it would guarantee the loser of Willis/Evans match to be first in line for a LL

That is a close to perfect day in Glasgow. Marzi was the only Brit who lost to a non-Brit.

Good stuff. Would have a natural hope ( and experience would suggest it not misplaced ) that Brits would perform relatively better in Britain.

Add that to more British players at least verging on Challenger level and it has been high time for more British Challengers.

yep v good day for the brits, hoping can get at least 3 qualifying tomorrow.

only shame is that only 1 brit managed to make the main draw by right!

We could easily have had 4 Brits as DAs in the main draw but Ward is playing an ATP 250 while Kyle and Liam are playing challengers elsewhere in the world.
