I won't watch, as it was when I came in at 5-3 in the second that he was broken. But well done to break, Mr Cox. Now go on and win it.

It wasn't your fault, Spec - it all went pretty much the same as last time cry Worse, in fact, because we didn't get the tie-break.

The guy played well when under pressure and Dan was maybe just a little conservative when in front (easy to say from a distance, I know).

Real shame.

Desein serving for the first set *5-2.
Ed going for the right shots but just failing to execute. Players look evenly matched - if Ed can cut down the UEs has a chance here

Desein duly serves out the first set, capturing by by 6-2. cry

I do wish that Ed would stop doing these weak drop shots when he can rip an unreturnable forehand. Keeps getting passed by Desein.
Anyway on serve set 2 - Ed has had a couple of break points but hasn't converted

Ed a break down now.

it was never close, as such, but Ed looked perfectly at ease at that level and gave a reasonable account.

The overrule on MP was ridiculous, although I think Ed had thought it was in, and had reacted, moving towards the net to shake hands, and that had influenced the umpire (who was in the world's worst place to overrule).

Ed had 3 bps in that game but not to be. 6-2 6-4 Desein.
British challenge over in Glasgow. Some good performances, some missed opportunities and a lot of evidence to show the LTA that we should be holding more hardcourt challengers in this country.

 "British challenge over in Glasgow"

A dangerous comment - the doubles bods will lynch you smile

Allez, Joe and Luke !

Too bad. Saw the odd moment of it here and there. Some very good play. Think that partnership could be profitable if continued.
