That's a nice win from our doubles pairing.

hope Liam's not too disappointed and can learn and put this match behind him. I think when he beat Kudla last year it was when he suddenly found himself in the zone playing sublime tennis which was fantastic to watch - was that the match? also Kudla has been playing well and almost beat Lopez in a very close 5 setter in the Australian 1st round 10 - 8 in the final set so he's certainly picked himself up since then.

watched a little of Cameron Norrie's match and was quite impressed. King seemed quite aggressive at times (maybe been told to use him aggression on court) so Cameron did really well. Good luck in the next round.

A shame neither of our guys drew Molchanov in the first round

It's the way they make the money to afford the travelling. They haven't got a federation dishing out the goody bags like we have.

What is Liam doing? If he makes final of doubles he will miss Memphis qualifying, and if he makes semis he will be under prepared.

I watched a bit of that doubles match, and had the commentary on the whole time. The commentator was SO complimentary about Darren - said he was really on fire !!

QF:  Liam Broady & Dennis Novikov (USA) CR 603 (286+317) "defeated" Guido Andreozzi & Marco Trungelliti (ARG/ARG) CR 712 (200+517) by a walkover

The match to decide the boys' semi-final opponents is currently in its very early stages (between the veteran WCs, Mardy Fish & Mark Knowles, & the Mexican qualifiers, Hans Hach & Luís Patino).
