Well done, Mr Ward. "He beats them here, he beats them there; he beats the Frenchmen everywhere" (to paraphrase the Scarlet Pimpernel).

The Bad News: He won't be playing another Frenchman in the final.

The Good News: He will be playing another Brit.  smilesmilesmile

So an Alex v Dan C final

I'm really hoping for an Alex win as I predicted him to have a big climb in the rankings in the prediction comp.

Well done, Alex, Dan C, Marcus and Lewis and good to see James having another encouraging week, which should take him back into the GB top 25 on Monday week.

SF: (5) Alex Ward WR 347 beat (Q) Matthieu Roy (FRA) WR 1132 (CH 728 in 2013) by 2 & 5
SF: (3) Dan Cox WR 298 beat James Marsalek WR 788 by 4-6 7-6(3) 6-2

FINAL: (3) Dan Cox WR 298 v (5) Alex Ward WR 347

H2H 0-1 - Alex won 1-6 7-5 6-4 in Bath in 2010

Surprising that they have only met once at this level - Alex is one of very few Brits with a + record against Dan.
