Wildcard Aidan McHugh lost out in his first round match, 6-3  6-3

 

But Eliz Maloney has changed Austria for Germany and started well:

 

R1: Eliz Maloney def. Jolina Barbara Feger (GER) 6-2 6-1

 

In R2, she meets the 15th seed, Olga Helmi, from Denmark

Another walk in the park for Eliz:

R2: Eliz Maloney def. (15) Olga Helmi (DEN) 6-2 6-1


In R3, however, she gets the top seed, Tamara Arnold (SUI) age 16 ITF WR 173 . . .

So VERY close for Eliz but it shows the level the 14 year-old is playing at:

R3: Eliz Maloney lost to (1) Tamara Arnold (SUI), age 16, Junior WR 173, 1-6 6-3 7-6(2)


Very close too but this time on the right side, Eliz and Eva Vedder won their doubles 6-7(3) 7-5 11-9

That's a LOT of tennis she's played today . . .
