Does anyone else feel on the verge of forgiving Jamie Murray for his ludicrous chat about a Wimbledon singles WC yet? I'm genuinely starting to feel that one year hence I may not despise him any more.

Can anybody enlighten me on this, please?

Dom and partner get the win, 6-2 in the 3rd set. Two good wins today for the Brits.

Re Jamie Murray requesting a Wimbledon singles MD wildcard in 2008 ( unsuccessfully, Bogdanovic and Baker were apparently the only two who got them ), I had totally forgotten about it, probably because it seems nothing more than a bit of cheeky opportunism, which would probably have amazed Jamie if it had succeeded.

Plenty of chutzpah but hardly unforgivable from Jamie!

I was expecting entitled demand but as Indy says, read more like a "who knows" deal, and after winning Mixed the year before I honestly can say that I see nothing to forgive Jamie for, myself.

Jamie and John face the 4 seeds. Dom and Florin could get the Bryans, due to play last after Ferrer - Simon.

No easy matches in grand slams and all that. Technically the 4th seeds were the lowest John and Jamie could've been paired with in the 3rd round, as seeds 1-4 are in the same section as the 13-16 seeds.

Silver lining I suppose.

Indeed, and Dodig & Melo just beat Golubev & Istomin in a third set tiebreaker.

Tough, as it was liable to be, but I think a decent chance for another Aussie Open QF for Dom.
